Cargoinspect was appointed by a major shipping line to survey a consignment of clementines in Montreal, Quebec.
Cargoinspect surveyors have extensive experience dealing with a large variety of reefer and perishable cargoes, including fruits and vegetables.
Our surveyor initially inspected the container and later perform a random sampling of the cargo, which was examined in detailed to determine the nature, cause and extent of the affectations.
Once the inspection was completed the surveyor made recommendations to mitigate the loss on behalf of all parties involved.
Cargoinspect surveyors are trained to look for identifying signs of affectations that show whether the damages are related to the conditions during transit or prior to the cargo being loaded inside the container.
